BGC and other operators donate to British charities

The BGC is going to utilize Royal Ascot’s profit, which is 1.2 million pounds, to donate it to different charity organizations in Great Britain.

Various operators agreed that the profit is going to be donated to different charity organizations. The companies are listed below:

  • Paddy Power
  • Betfair
  • Sky Bet
  • Ladbrokes
  • Coral

Other brands, such as Bet365, William Hill, 888 and Betway are involved in the scheme as well.

The whole donations are shared with among the following organizations:

  1. ABF The Soldiers’ Charity
  2. Sue Ryder
  3. Ascot Racecourse Supports Community Fund
  4. The Ivors Academy Trust
  5. Cotswold RDA

M. Dugher, BGC’s CEO expressed his opinion on BGC’s action saying that BGC donating a large sum of money to different organizations is really great. BGC also supports almost 120 thousand workers with their jobs, and it is their honor and pleasure for us to support great causes in our communities around the year. They are very pleased with the partnership that they’ve built with horse racing in Great Britain. This Royal Ascot was really unique, as the crowds were able to attend, many followed it on TV and also Queen’s Platinum Jubilee took place. 

Later he added that he hopes the donated money is going to positively affect the organizations. Dugher also thanked BGC and Ascot.
