Flutter Foundation: a social campaign launched in Ceuta

Flutter Entertainment has launched the Flutter Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to bettering 10 million lives by 2030.

In line with the operator’s Do More and Positive Impact Plan sustainability programs, the Flutter Foundation has established a base in Ceuta, Spain, where it hopes to encourage social action and generate positive change.

Dan Taylor, CEO of Flutter International, commented:

“We are excited to see the start of the Flutter Foundation in Ceuta, and we aim today for this initiative to make a significant difference in communities, starting with Ceuta.”

Being the first foundation of its kind anywhere in the world, Flutter will concentrate on the Ceutan community and has formalized two agreements to improve the locality. Through these agreements, the organization has partnered with the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Youth to provide scholarships worth €80,000 for STEM courses, support underprivileged families, and encourage gender equality in scientific careers.

Juan Jesús Vivas Lara, President of the Autonomous City of Ceuta explained:

“Ceuta is proud to be the headquarters of this important initiative and to have a company like Flutter as an ally. The Flutter Foundation will be an acumen engine of positive change for many people. We are committed to supporting its mission and collaborating closely in its work for the social, economic, educational and technological development of the city.”

In addition, the Foundation will engage with the Ceutan government to create a framework for cooperation and create projects aimed at enhancing the city’s quality of life and inclusivity.

Cristina Pérez Valero, Delegate of the Government of Spain in Ceuta, added:

“The Flutter Foundation is presented as an opportunity to strengthen social cohesion and provide support to those who need it more. Their work will be very valuable to improve the quality of life in our community.”

While the Foundation first concentrated on Ceuta and the surrounding areas, Flutter has confirmed that the organization will gradually broaden its geographic scope.

Elisa Miguel Fonseca, President of the Flutter Foundation commented:

“We are very serious about launching the world’s first Flutter foundation. Our mission is clear: to work in close collaboration with the communities most in need to promote positive and lasting change in Ceuta society and, in a second phase, in all of Spanish society.”
