Genius Sports hires ex-minister as its new business advisor

Sir Hugh Robertson, who previously was the Minister for Sport and the London Olympics in the United Kingdom, is chosen as the brand-new council advisor of Genius Sports.

Robertson is an experienced professional. He studied in the UK’s oldest public school, then graduated from Reading University with a Bachelor’s degree. He was awarded for everything he has done during the Olympics 2012, which took place in London. Furthermore he also became a member of parliament

Throughout his life he had many challenging jobs, such as Minister of Sport and the London Olympics and Minister of State in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. 

Back in 2015 he decided to depart from politics and now is the working chairperson of Camelot – operator of the National Lottery and National Olympic Committee for the United Kingdom. 

He will use all of his understanding of the industry and professionalism gained from previous jobs to develop the company

Robertson immediately got to work. He is going to use his skills and manage the company’s advisory committee. 

In his statement sir Hugh told that he is honored to become Genius Sports’ advisor, and he cannot wait to cooperate with them and to create a leading brand.  Also, he added that he believes that he can support them. 

“Our team is very happy with our decision. For over 2 decades he worked in the field of United Kingdom’s sport. His knowledge and skills are going to develop our company.”
