Interview with Ivan Kraynov — Co-founder of Boomerang
AffPapa recently interviewed Ivan Kraynov, the Co-founder of Boomerang. Ivan covered a number of topics, including the inspiration behind Boomerang, more insights on their recent AC Milan partnership, and gave a glimpse of his vision for the brand’s future.
Yeva: Ivan, for those who are still not acquainted with you, could you tell us how you ended up co-founding Boomerang? What inspired you to start this company, and what’s been the best part of your experience until now?
I’m involved in several projects as a co-founder and investor. However, I’ve always been drawn to the idea of creating something truly special, and Boomerang is that special project. Together with the other co-founders, who have been my childhood friends, we combined our strengths and knowledge to build this company. Each of us brought unique ideas and experiences to Boomerang, which has given us incredible potential for growth and innovation.
I greatly value our collective mindset and ability to work as a unified team. We are building an honest and transparent business that prioritizes our partners and end consumers. For us, Boomerang is not just a business; it’s a project with significant global potential, and we take pride in the fact that we have managed to turn not just an idea but a dream into reality.

Yeva: How do you see this partnership shaping Boomerang’s future?
This partnership is of strategic importance to Boomerang Bet. Collaborating with such a prestigious football club as AC Milan will help us increase brand recognition, build trust, and attract interest while establishing long-term relationships with existing and new clients, partners, and users of our products. We are confident that this partnership will drive the company’s growth, expand our presence in key markets, and create new opportunities for innovative offerings. It has also added momentum to our other partnerships: we’ve signed the most popular female footballer, Alisha Lehmann, as an ambassador, and we plan to continue working in this direction. Boomerang has global ambitions. We focus on expanding our presence in new markets and seeking new strategic partnerships. Our roadmap includes launching several new projects, with multiple new iGaming products set to debut in the fall of 2024.

Yeva: Being a successful entrepreneur yourself, what advice would you give to someone who wanted to start their own business in the betting industry?
In the iGaming industry, finding your niche is the first step to success. Due to high competition, offering something unique to stand out and attract customers is crucial. Think about what you can do differently or better than your competitors.
Equally important is the team working on your project. I take pride in the fact that Boomerang is powered by professionals who are dedicated to achieving success. Look for people who share your passion and possess the necessary skills. Make sure everyone on the team knows their role and works towards a common goal — this is the foundation of a successful business.
Yeva: Ending on a more fun note, what’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
I take great pride in my collection of mistakes, which I keep stored in my memory. We all make mistakes. Some make us stronger, some force us to change direction, and some are disappointing. But all of them have an impact on us. What matters is how you handle them and the lessons you learn.
I’m no exception. Despite successes in business and other areas of life, I’ve made my fair share of mistakes, each of which has been a valuable lesson and experience. Mistakes are the best school for humanity. They are inevitable in business; I’ve learned to embrace them and grow stronger. After all, the only person who doesn’t make mistakes is the one who doesn’t do anything. So, if you ever see me stumble, know I’m adding another ‘exhibit’ to my collection!
