Interview with Babix – Chief Retard Officer at BetBolt
In an interview with AffPapa, Babix, the Chief Retard Officer at BetBolt, discussed his unique position, the company’s player-first and bureaucracy-free approach, and the team’s vision for shaping the future of crypto iGaming.
Yeva: Babix, your title is quite unconventional. Can you explain what a Chief Retard Officer does, and what does a typical day look like for you at BetBolt?
Why CRO? I’m him, chaos, fights, and overall retard. No one’s quite sure what I do, but things seem to get done. My days start the same: teeth brushed, run 2 miles, then it’s time to lock in into doing nothing.
The highlight of my mornings is sending a good morning text to my colleague Adam, certified genius, office heartthrob, and the reason I have my prestigious CRO title. We clash sometimes, but I respect the hell out of him. Without Adam’s smart mind, I’d just be another gooner on the internet.
As a huge gambling addict myself, I find myself depositing large sums at 2 AM praying to win. This is what keeps me motivated. Up $75,000 past month on stake #thanksEddie
Yeva: What do you think sets BetBolt apart from other crypto casinos, considering it’s a relatively new platform?
We’re for the people, and that’s what sets us apart. We actually listen to what our users want and build around that.
Our VIP system is a great example. It’s not just a standard rewards program, it’s shaped by feedback from our community. From better rewards to faster support, everything is designed to give real value back to the people who support us.
I believe in the future we’ll be known as the most customer centric casino in the industry
Yeva: BetBolt positions itself as “bureaucracy-free.” What does that mean for players in practice?
BetBolt is all about keeping things simple and hassle-free. For players, that means no KYC checks, quick withdrawals, and no judgment. Just a fast, easy, and straightforward experience with zero bureaucracy. Enjoy your freedom to play.
Yeva: Many platforms put a heavy emphasis on bonuses. What’s your approach to keeping players engaged without relying too much on promos?
At BetBolt, we focus on creating a genuine, player-first experience. Instead of leaning on constant bonuses, we stay connected with what players truly want. Our VIP hosts aren’t just customer service reps, they’re actual gamblers who know exactly how it feels to be in the player’s shoes. They get it, and they know how to cater to player preferences because they’ve been there. No more out of touch, “boomer” hosts who don’t understand the game. We’re about real connections, understanding the vibe, and keeping things personal. That’s how we keep our players engaged and feeling valued.
Yeva: Innovation is central to your mission. Can you share a recent feature or update that reflects it?
Innovation is at the heart of everything we do at BetBolt. Recently, we introduced the Vault feature, which offers a 10% yearly APY. It’s a unique, rank-based benefit that lets our players earn more while keeping everything sustainable. Plus, we’re adding on-site crypto swaps next week, so you can seamlessly exchange your crypto without leaving the platform.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve got a massive project in the works that will make BetBolt the first casino to offer something never seen before. We can’t reveal too much just yet, designed exclusively for the true degens and no one else. Stay tuned; we’re all about delivering the next big thing.
Yeva: What trends in casino and sportsbook entertainment excite you the most right now?
To be honest, nothing really excites me right now. Everything out there feels repetitive and uninspired. It’s just the same old ideas being recycled. Most platforms are just copying each other, and there’s no real creativity or innovation happening. It’s all talk and no action.
At BetBolt, we know that if we want to stand out and make an impact, we can’t just follow the crowd. We’ve got to think outside the box, push boundaries, and come up with fresh, real ideas. If we don’t, this industry will stay stagnant, and no one will truly win. That’s the mentality we bring to the table constantly challenging ourselves to create something new and exciting for the real players.
Yeva: As the use of cryptocurrencies in iGaming continues to grow, how do you see crypto shaping the future of the industry beyond just being a payment method?
Crypto gambling isn’t what it used to be. Back in the day, it was all about anonymity, quick transactions, and no need for all the KYC hoops. But now, most casinos are adopting KYC processes, which kind of defeats the point of using crypto in the first place. Despite that, I still believe crypto can change the game again in the future. If platforms start focusing on privacy and decentralization again, we could see a real shift where players can enjoy true freedom and security, without the extra baggage. It’s definitely an area where things could evolve, and we’re excited to be part of that potential shift.
Yeva: Speaking of the future, where do you see BetBolt heading? Do you have a vision for the company’s next level of growth?
Of course, we’ve got some big plans, but we’re not leaking anything just yet! What I can say is that we’re driven by passion and a strong vision for the future. We’re a young, hungry team that’s all about pushing boundaries and making things happen. Our focus is on constant growth and innovation, always keeping our players at the center of everything we do. We’re excited for what’s next and determined to take BetBolt to the next level, but you’ll have to stay tuned to see how we do it!
Yeva: Last but not least, Babix, if you weren’t CRO, what position would you go for instead?
If I weren’t the CRO, I’d be the CAO, Chief Adam Officer. Words can’t express how much I support my gay colleague Adam; he’s truly one of a kind. We at BetBolt do not discriminate in any way.
