Interview with Rose Reddington – Affiliate Manager at Trips Partners

AffPapa recently interviewed Rose Reddington, Affiliate Manager at Trips Partners, about her professional journey, affiliate marketing, and the company’s plans.
Yeva: Rose, your career path seems like quite a ride! Can you walk us through your journey into the iGaming affiliate industry? Was this always the plan, or did you stumble upon it unexpectedly?
As everybody knows, life rarely unfolds the way we expect, does it? My journey into the iGaming affiliate industry wasn’t planned, that’s for sure. More like a series of fortunate accidents, a chance meeting here, a calculated risk there. But once I saw the opportunity to leverage relationships and partnerships in this dynamic, high-stakes environment, I knew this was where the real game was being played. Sometimes the best paths are the ones you stumble upon when you’re not looking.
Yeva: Affiliate marketing is always evolving. What’s the biggest shift you’ve seen in the industry, and how has it changed the way you work?
I’ve seen shifts for sure, and the biggest shift I’ve witnessed is that our work now is no longer about chasing endless numbers of players; it’s about understanding the quality of those players and how to nurture relationships over time. We’re all focusing more now on personalization. It’s less about the wild chase and more about the calculated steps toward mutual benefit.
Yeva: Trips Partners has built a strong name in the industry. What sets you apart from other affiliate programs, and why do affiliates love working with you?
That’s a great question, thank you! At Trips Partners, from the first day, it’s about trust, relationships, and growth. As part of Trips Partners, I can say that we don’t see ourselves as just another affiliate program on the market. We strongly believe in partnerships. Our affiliate partners aren’t just numbers in the system, they are key players in a game of mutual success. I’m sure that our partners will confirm that our transparency, competitive commissions, and personalized support create an environment where affiliates thrive, knowing we have their backs every step of the way. At the end of the day, we’re working with people, not just numbers.
Yeva: What’s one misconception people have about working with an affiliate program like Trips Partners, and what’s the reality?
From what I’ve witnessed, the main misconception is that working with an affiliate program is about passive income. That you just throw a link out there and watch the money roll in. Regrettably, that’s not our reality: This is business, it’s planning, acting, risking, that’s not a lottery.
Before you start working with an affiliate program like Trips Partners, you’d better have a strategy, knowing when to move, just like any high-stakes deal. Understand the product, the players, that’s a need for success.
The affiliates who succeed aren’t the ones who sit back and wait; they’re the ones who put in the work, build relationships, and adjust their strategy when necessary. The reality is, if you treat an affiliate program like a transaction, you’ll get transactional results. But if you treat it like a partnership, that’s when the real success happens.
Yeva: Trips Partners is constantly growing. Are there any exciting projects, expansions, or innovations that affiliates should keep an eye on?
I can’t share all the details, I must keep something not as a secret, but as an exclusive for our current and new partners. I can share that we have plans that will shake up the industry – in a good way, of course. We think about stepping into new markets, providing exclusive offers that redefine how affiliates engage, and creating a little, not so little, with time, a society of Trips Partners partners.
Keep your eyes peeled. When we move, the entire affiliate landscape will feel it.
Yeva: If you had to describe Trips Partners using only three words, what would they be and why?
Trust. Partnerships. Growth. At Trips Partners, we believe that at the end of the day, it’s about partnerships we build on trust, the new interpretation of already existing ideas, and completely new ones that we bring to the table, will drive for growth, both for us and for our affiliates.
Yeva: Where do you see the iGaming affiliate space heading in the next five years? Any trends that excite (or scare) you?
Excitement is in the air for me. I see a future where AI will revolutionize the way we target and engage players. But there’s also caution in all of this, such as regulatory changes. The iGaming affiliate industry needs to be prepared for tighter controls. Innovation is always exciting, but it requires responsibility.
Yeva: And finally, if you could go back in time and give yourself one piece of advice on your first day as an Affiliate Manager, what would it be?
Don’t waste time trying to please everyone. Focus on what matters.
In this business, unfortunately, not every deal will bring value to the table. You’ll have affiliates who talk a big game but deliver little, and then there are the ones who put in the effort, the ones who get the results. Take your time to find the ones who bring value to the table, nurture those relationships, and cut the dead weight early.
Time is your most valuable asset; don’t let anyone waste it.
