Ashley-Christian Hardy joins Yolo Group as CPO
Ashley-Christian Hardy, who is joining Yolo Group, is a new Chief Product Officer, bringing years of relevant industry experience to the role.
Hardy was a seasoned executive at Flutter for a long time, which gives him a strong understanding of the market having guided many of its top businesses.
Hardy’s hiring comes at a pivotal moment for Yolo Group as well. With its two main brands, Bitcasino and Sportsbet.io, the company has been proactively attempting to increase its footprint in the worldwide sports betting and gambling market.
Before going into Flutter Entertainment, Hardy had also worked for almost four years with Gaming Innovation Group.
In a LinkedIn post, Hardy commented on his most recent appointment:
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as chief product officer at Yolo Group. After a great two years[with Flutter International, I have been given the opportunity to join Yolo Group as CPO.”
Among other notable contributions to GiG, Hardy actively participated in a number of industry-related activities and assisted in the launch of the sportsbook in New Jersey.
Turning to his origins, Hardy was present when bet365 was just beginning to operate in the iGaming market. Later in his career, he joined Full Tilt Poker in 2009, only to subsequently accept an appointment at PokerStars. Hardy made a point of highlighting his time working with Flutter, saying that he had picked up a lot of knowledge from the firm. Now that he was acquainted with several facets of a large company like Flutter, Hardy continued, he felt comfortable offering Yolo Group significant and influential answers.
Yolo Group has a history of making headlines for luring top talent from other companies; former Better Collective executive Shane Anderson also joined the company in April.
