bet365 to launch U.S. headquarters in Denver
Having a small team of around 50 people in Denver, bet365 will officially launch its U.S. headquarters in Colorado.
bet365 is a UK-based gaming company that employs 7,000 people globally. Now, the company is making a big step forward by launching its headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) revealed that the company plans to create as many as 300 jobs in its first year. These roles will span various departments, including customer service, software development, marketing, legal, finance, and more.
OEDIT stated:
“Positions within the new headquarters will include customer service operations, trading, software development and technology, with additional openings in marketing, legal, finance, facilities, human resources and recruitment.”
More than a year ago, rumors were going on that an unknown company eyed Denver as its US hub. Now, it is clear that the unknown company was bet365.
To attract bet365, Colorado offered generous offers concerning taxes, such as job growth tax credits of up to $14 million available within the next eight years, but only if bet365 accomplishes certain employment levels.
OEDIT added:
“The Colorado Economic Development Commission (CEDC) approved up to $14,055,942 in a performance-based Job Growth Incentive Tax Credit for the company over an eight-year period. These incentives are contingent upon bet365, referred to as Project Forge throughout the OEDIT review process, meeting net new job creation and salary requirements.”
bet365 has also renovated 120,000 square feet of office space, potentially creating temporary construction jobs. This move is expected to boost both bet365’s US presence and Colorado’s economy as the state continues to grow in both population and the sports betting market.
bet365’s new official headquarters are located at 1701 Platte Street.
