BetMGM welcomes NBA legend Kevin Garnett as new ambassador
The MGM Resorts’ subsidiary sportsbook company – BetMGM, has struck an ambassadorship with legendary NBA player – Kevin Garnett.
The deal between the leading sportsbook and the former professional basketball player, who has played for 21 seasons at the NBA, will see Garnett become BetMGM’s latest brand ambassador in basketball.
This means the legendary basketball player is going to be featured in the sports operator’s future promotional campaigns, as well as make appearances in special events, in promotions on SM and on the platform itself.
Having made an All-Star team an impressive amount of 15 times, being named Most Valuable Player and having won an NBA Championship in 2008, Kevin Garnett is considered one of the greatest power forwards of all time.
The basketball legend stated about the ambassadorship with BetMGM:
“This partnership is a natural one for the both sides since we share a mutual devotion to always staying on top in the ever-expanding sports business scene.”
This, however, wasn’t Garnett’s first involvement with the wagering world. The NBA star had previously co-founded Gaming Society – an iGaming platform that focuses on inclusion and diversity.
BetMGM’s CRO – Matt Prevost, also greeted the partnership and stated:
“We are looking forward to having Garnett on our team of brand ambassadors, and working with him on various campaigns”
