Several of the BGC’s top members will be donating their profits from today’s Britannia Stakes event.

The firms that are preparing to donate their profits include several of the United Kingdom’s top bookmakers, such as Flutter, Entain, 888, Kindred, and more. The operators will be supporting half a dozen UK charities with their donations, including Ascot Racecourse Supports, which is an initiative run by the famous Ascot Racecourse, where Britannia Stakes is held each year.

Last year, the BGC ran a similar campaign, as part of which its member companies were able to raise 1.2 million pounds for charitable causes. However, if the participating firms do not manage to turn a profit throughout the popular race, they have pledged to donate at least a quarter of a million pounds to the selected charities at the end of the race.

“Britannia Stakes is one of the sport’s most well-known events in the United Kingdom, and we are excited that it will also continue raising funds for charitable causes. We would like to thank all of our member bookmakers who have made this fundraiser possible Regardless of how bettors fare during the exciting event, we will be able to raise a sizeable amount of funds for our selected charities.”

commented Michael Dugher, the BGC’s CEO.
