Question: Before we talk about Casino2k, we’d love to hear about your own journey. Having worked in the digital industry for many years, including web development, online marketing, and editorial projects, how did you choose to enter iGaming, and what made you decide it was the right time to launch Casino2k?

I have always been fascinated by the world of land-based casinos, since I was young. My entry into iGaming, therefore, was not the result of a sudden decision, but rather the outcome of a path in which my passion for gaming and my professional development grew side by side. Over the years, I worked in different areas related to web development, editorial projects, and digital marketing, and this helped me understand how important it is to combine skills, strategic vision, and content quality.

At a certain point, together with my partners Matteo Giannone and Stefano Franceschetti, we realized that the online gaming market in Italy was progressing very quickly, but there were still not enough information websites that were truly clear and reliable. We understood that, beyond reviewing operators and comparing bonuses, it was essential to explain clearly how the whole market worked, helping players find their way, make more informed choices, and, above all, distinguish a legal casino from one that is not transparent.

The way Italian players approach online gambling has changed a lot. Today they are much more demanding, so it will be essential to respond to their expectations with greater clarity and effectiveness. In particular, compliance will take on an even more decisive role. An affiliate must know the regulations perfectly if they want to offer a reliable and serious product.

In the coming years, it will no longer be enough simply to publish content in order to stand out and build a good reputation. What will make the difference is the ability to provide information that is genuinely verified and useful for readers. This is also where AI comes into play. We need to view artificial intelligence as a support tool, but we certainly cannot think that it can replace the experience of someone who truly knows the market and understands users’ needs.

In my opinion, the player must always remain at the centre of everything. We should never forget that it is the player who places their trust in the operator and spends their own money, so for affiliates it becomes essential to respond properly to their expectations.

In short, I believe the defining trend will not be only technological, but also cultural. In a market so full of content, the projects that will prevail are those truly capable of building an authoritative image.

Question: Looking ahead, what are your main goals for Casino2k? Are there any new features, content initiatives, or areas of expansion users should know about?

Our goal is to keep growing and improving the quality of the project from every point of view. We want to make our content increasingly accurate and up to date, because we believe users need information that is both reliable and easy to consult.

To strengthen our reputation in the market, it is essential to continue investing in our forum, which will always play a leading role in supporting users and helping them solve any kind of problem. We want to support users when they have doubts, difficulties, or want to better understand how a service works. For example, in the SOS section, users can contact us when an online casino does not provide satisfactory answers. In many cases, thanks to our mediation, we are able to help them unlock situations that would otherwise remain unresolved.

The first thing to understand is that today the Italian market has nothing to do with what it was 15 years ago. We are talking about one of the most competitive and regulated markets in Europe, so there is no room for improvisation. To stand out, you need to have studied the market, be prepared, invest financial resources, and have a solid project in mind.

An affiliate needs to have a clear identity and be able to truly understand the real needs of the audience, putting themselves in the shoes of the modern player. SEO skills are important, of course, but so is understanding market dynamics, compliance, and the concrete needs of users.

In this sense, trust plays a fundamental role. To build it, both with operators and with players, you need commitment, expertise, and time. It is earned through useful content, constant updates, transparency, and consistency.

If someone thinks they can enter the Italian market without a solid structure behind them, they will most likely fail. Today, achieving results without strong foundations is almost impossible.
