Chicago approves the design of Bally’s upcoming casino

The design of Bally’s upcoming establishment in Chicago was recently approved by the city.

The new establishment, the bid for which was originally approved about a year ago, is estimated to cost the company around 1.7 billion dollars. It will feature a hotel with 500 rooms, a dedicated casino space, along with lots of other entertainment areas that are projected to create a total of over 3 thousand jobs and support numerous local businesses.

The riverfront resort will be one of the first of its kind, being a mixed-use development in the center of a large city. Despite its urban setting, the property will feature over 40 thousand square meters of outdoor space, including a park for local residents, which can also be used for various events and fairs.

The Senior VP of Development and Design at Bally’s, Joyen Vakil, commented:

“Our forthcoming establishment in Chicago will be offering a unique entertainment experience to our patrons through its excellent design that will feature plenty of outdoor space. We are certain that with the help of our partners, we will be able to execute our plans and create a unique setting in the heart of Chicago.”

The construction of the new establishment is planned to start sometime late next year, with the estimated completion date being set in 2026.
