The registrations cover Delasport as an iGaming Goods or Services Supplier – Platform Provider and as a Critical Gaming Systems Supplier. With both in place, the company can now offer its Player Account Management platform, along with its own Sportsbook and Casino Aggregation solutions, to operators in Alberta, where the online gaming market opened on July 13, 2026.
This marks Delasport’s second regulated market in Canada, following its earlier entry into Ontario, where its technology and Managed Services already support licensed operators including TitanPlay, Maverick Games, and Betnova.
As proof of its operational readiness, Delasport points to TitanPlay’s recent success in passing RG Check Accreditation from the Responsible Gambling Council on the first try, earning a high score. The company has also linked its platform to Alberta’s Central Self-Exclusion system and set it up to handle the automatic daily, weekly, and monthly reporting mandated by AGLC.
Filippo Ferri, Chief Compliance Officer at Delasport, commented:
“Our success in Ontario has demonstrated that we have the technology, expertise and operational capabilities to help operators succeed in highly regulated Canadian markets. We’re ready to support both existing and new partners as they enter Alberta.”
The move comes as Canada’s gambling sector continues to grow, as the province’s regulated market generated CA$82.7 billion in wagers and CA$3.2 billion in gross gaming revenue during fiscal 2024-25. Meanwhile, Alberta’s government estimates that around 70% of gambling activity in the province still happens through unregulated operators, a gap H2 Gambling Capital projects could translate into around CA$1.2 billion in gross gaming revenue for the new market’s first year.
