Mark Weiss has recently been named the Deputy CEO of GamCare.

Having worked with GamCare for close to two years as the charity’s Director of External Communications and Affairs, Weiss is an excellent candidate to lead the organization. His career before GamCare involved numerous leadership positions in communications and public affairs departments.

The new appointee stated:

“I am excited to be appointed as the charity’s Deputy CEO. Since my first day with GamCare, I have seen how impactful the charity’s support services are in helping those negatively affected by gambling problems, along with preventing such harms from developing. As the sector is in a period of significant changes taking place, I am eager to work closely with our partners and the government to ensure the safety of UK’s gambling enthusiasts.”

GamCare’s Executive Chair, Margot Daly, remarked:

In his latest position, Weiss will be leading the charity’s team, along with their main objective of assisting people affected by various gambling problems across the UK. Moreover, he will be taking on the role of GamCare’s Deputy CEO while simultaneously maintaining his responsibilities as the organization’s Communications and Affairs Director.
