Adjusted EBITDA dropped by 33% to €0.8 million, and the net loss widened to €4.5 million from €3 million. The company linked the revenue decline mainly to departing clients, including the insolvency of Richmond Atlantic, and lower set-up fees. Recurring revenue edged up to €7.1 million, while operating costs fell by €1 million, mostly through staff reductions.
In August 2026, GiG completed its acquisition of an 80% stake in 888AFRICA in a deal valued at €16.4 million, with cash and cash equivalents rising to €8 million by the end of the quarter. GiG also expanded in Alberta through new and renewed operator partnerships.
Richard Carter, CEO of GiG Software, said:
“The addition of 888AFRICA marks a defining moment in the evolution of our business as we combine a leaner, more focused B2B platform business with a profitable, fast-growing B2C operator holding a market-leading position in Mozambique and operations in Angola and Tanzania.”
GiG kept its 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance of €5.5 million to €7 million and expects 2027 revenue of €85 million to €90 million, with adjusted EBITDA of €17 million to €19 million.
