Kalshi launches Asociación del Fútbol Argentino sponsorship

Kalshi has signed a sponsorship deal with Argentina’s football federation (AFA) to serve as an official sponsor of the national team during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

According to the terms of the agreement, Kalshi will get to use AFA’s intellectual property in its marketing materials, which includes the country’s blue and white crest, with further co-branded activations and social media campaigns set to be conducted throughout the tournament period.

Kalshi’s Head of Sports Partnerships, Adam Barrick, commented:

“Argentina continues to set the standard for excellence in global futbol, and we’re proud to partner with the defending World Cup champions. At Kalshi, we’re redefining how fans engage with live events, and this partnership embodies a shared commitment to serving fans of the beautiful game during arguably the most iconic moment that the sport offers.”

Additionally, Genius Sports, which is AFA’s official data and streaming partner, will provide official match data to improve accuracy and transparency, and support the settlement of event contracts.

Leandro Petersen, Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer of AFA, added:

“Kalshi is a leader in its category, and their decision to partner with AFA is a testament to the global strength our brand has built since 2017. Each new alliance of this caliber reinforces that the path we charted for AFA’s international expansion is the right one and that the world’s leading organizations want to be part of it.”

The prediction market operator will also take part in Genius Sports’ integrity information-sharing processes to increase sports leagues’ visibility into market activity.
