Meridianbet publishes its 2022 ESG report
Meridianbet has recently published its ESG report for 2022, which highlighted some of the company’s important achievements.
The document covered a variety of the operator’s ESG-related programs, such as in the areas of gender equality, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability.
One of its first highlighted points was the company’s diverse higher management team, as over 50% of Meridianbet’s managers and leaders across all of the company’s divisions were women.
Meridianbet hosted over 250 corporate social responsibility projects throughout the year, which focused on various ESG topics, such as environmental sustainability and health institution support.
The operator launched two projects in the year, Meridian Eco and Clean Air Clear Victory. The former is a unique initiative that allows for direct customer involvement in various corporate social responsibility actions taken by the firm, while the latter is an afforestation program that is carried out in partnership with various environmental protection agencies.
Lastly, Meridianbet donated 2 million Euros to various health institutions throughout the year, with the total number of recipients being over 120 across major regions in the Latin American, African, and European continents. Additionally, the company also initiated over 50 fundraising campaigns dedicated to treating rare diseases in children.
