MGA Games, the Spanish-based slot developer, has released its Portuguese celebrities series in collaboration with 888 Portugal.

Users of 888 Portugal, an online casino operator, will be able to enjoy MGA’s slot collection. Among the games are CSI Miami, SandroRey, Samantha Fox, and Dream 3 Team. Launching the localized content, showcasing Paulo Futre, Chef Chakal, Fanny Rodriguez, and Ana Catharina, will strengthen MGA’s position in Portugal.

The live release with 888 Portugal was revealed within a day of the MGA Games Day event, where the firm outlined its 2022 plan.

Sara Gómez, MGA Games’ sales manager, expressed her delight in working with 888 Portugal, stating that the connection was simple and quick:

“All of them are mainstream titles that will surely increase the operator’s profits. We are thrilled to be launching our Portuguese Celebrities alongside such a fantastic company as 888. Portugal is a critical marketplace for us, and this combination will enable us to cement our status as a major supplier of localized solutions.” Our objective is to guarantee that each country has a unique and distinguishing offering with highly localized features that capture the attention of the gamers.”

Next year’s intentions include the debut of 50 innovative products for various market segments. Global joint ventures, worldwide exclusive contracts, marketing initiatives, and localized and foreign land-based restrictions are also on the agenda for next year.

MGA Games made its debut in Portugal in 2021. With its Portuguese Celebrities series,  the corporation has struck deals with 76% of operators.

José Antonio Giacomelli, MGA Games’ general director, stated that the company’s 2022 objective is to generate and accredit over 50 global titles with IPs. The company will also seek to deliver its products to Italy, Holland, Germany, Sweden, and Denmark.

Giacomelli continued saying:

“We’ve pushed the product a notch further with titles like Golden Throne, The Last Gladiator, and Cleopatra, and the aim is to localize all of the titles for every country we’re preparing to enter.”

Paulo Furte, MGA Games

According to Gomez, the company’s next target is the Netherlands since they are absolutely set to start with companies like Microgaming, Pariplay, Oryx, and Leander. The firm will shortly debut goods in Italy, where it has inked deals with five renowned operators.

Gomez stated that they will keep expanding by duplicating their achievement in Spain and in other authorized nations in Europe, beginning with the licensing of over 30 titles for such additional jurisdictions.

MGA estimates that its slot games are distributed in 95% of Spanish online casinos. The firm emphasizes Spain and hopes to raise its engagement to the market next year with 26 new three-reel Spanish celebrity products, up 12 from this year. The product plan includes the commercialization of Grand Croupier Roulette, its new table game, which features its own 3D engine.

Roberto Ayala, MGA Games’ R&D director, more explicitly noted the company’s growth of its slot collection with Big Time Gaming’s Megaways, which would allow MGA to personalize its celebrity series with the well-known mechanism.
