Phil Richards appointed CFO of GiG’s Platform & Sportsbook
Phil Richards has been named chief financial officer (CFO) of Gaming Innovation Group (GiG)’s Platform & Sportsbook segment.
Richards has held positions in finance at Kambi and at prestigious companies like Shell and KPMG, as well as in the iGaming, cybersecurity, and accountancy sectors. His most recent position was CFO of Corero Network Security, an AIM-listed cybersecurity business. Because of the company’s product and market reach, Richards anticipates GiG will grow quickly and acquire market share.
Richards said:
“I am delighted to be joining GiG at such a pivotal moment in the company’s growth story. Working alongside such an experienced executive team will allow me to further support the continued evolution of GiG’s platform, cementing its position as the market leader for operators globally.”
As the Platform & Sportsbook business is ready to list on the Nasdaq Stockholm in conjunction with the GiG spin-off, Richards will be in charge of growing the finance department and assisting with the overall strategic development of the company.
