Philadelphia 76ers’ official betting partner announced as being BetMGM
BetMGM has been chosen to be the Official Betting Partner of the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Philadelphia 76ers. This does not come long after the mobile casino and sportsbook app debuted in Pennsylvania.
This new agreement sees the form releasing a variety of 76ers branded casino games, as well as featuring across all of the team’s digital and social media platforms, which includes the official 76ers app.
Furthermore, the betting operator will have important signings throughout the nationally televised 76ers games, which includes the BetMGM logo on the pole pads beneath the baskets.
BetMGM’s Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost said: “We’re honored to be an Official Sports Betting Partner of the 76ers. Our recent launch in Pennsylvania has been incredibly successful and this partnership is an exciting opportunity for BetMGM to offer 76ers fans unique ways to engage with their favorite basketball team.”
BetMGM was actually established through a partnership between MGM Resorts International and Entain Plc, offering sports betting and online gaming products.
This partnership also oversees MGM Resorts’ Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey becoming the “Official Away Game Host of the Philadelphia 76ers.”
The venue will be hosting in-person events once it is safe to do so again, particularly a co-branded Season Ticket and VIP event in the future with casino games, guest appearances by famous players, signed memorabilia raffles and many other exclusive prizes.
The Philadelphia 76ers will play its first match of the 2020/21 season on the 23rd of December, against the Washington Wizards. This late start in the year is because of the NBA’s COVID-19 prevention measures, which also reduces the season to only 72 games.
