The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has given PokerStars permission to release its products in Ontario.

PokerStars is globally the biggest online poker site and manages about 2/3 of the online poker business.

At the beginning of June, TSG Interactive Canada which is PokerStars’ parent company was authorized by AGCO. The license will be in effect from June 8 through June 7, 2024, for a period of two years. From now on PokerStars is going to be allowed to offer its products such as casino, poker and betting to its clients in Ontario.

Based on the contract signed back in 2020 TSG Interactive is the branch of  Flutter Entertainment.

“Ontario is the home market for our company, as the very 1st PokerStars was played here, and it happened more than twenty year ago. Therefore, we are very excited about our adjusted environment in which our customers are going to play.”

stated Group Marketing Director T. Warren.

Later he added that the company’s plan is to always offer their clients the best gaming experience, thus their team cannot wait to start offering customers new quality products.

This year in April PokerStars launched its peer-to-peer betting exchange site.
