PropellerAds introduces its latest AI updates

PropellerAds has added two new AI tools to its platform: an upgraded NIKO AI and the new SSP MCP Connector. Both are designed to make campaign creation, management, and optimization easier, giving advertisers the option to work with AI directly in the PropellerAds Self-Serve Platform or through the AI Agent they already use.

With Media buyers already using AI to write, copy, analyze data, brainstorm ideas, and automate everyday tasks, the next logical step is bringing AI directly into campaign management to reducing routine work without sacrificing control, and that is exactly what the latest PropellerAds updates are designed to do.

NIKO AI: Campaign co-pilot, now smarter than ever

NIKO AI, built directly into the PropellerAds Self-Serve Platform, is an AI Agent that combines campaign management with product expertise, powered by the platform’s expanded Knowledge Base.

From a single conversation, advertisers can now:

  • Create campaigns across Push Notifications, Onclick (Popunder), Telegram Ads, Interactive Ads, and Paid Social Traffic.
  • Edit existing campaigns without affecting unchanged settings.
  • View campaign lists or individual campaigns.
  • Get bid recommendations for any GEO, format, and payment model.
  • Receive practical test budget recommendations.
  • Configure advanced targeting, scheduling, and budget limits.
  • Set up dayparting.
  • Get a dashboard link after every launch.
  • Ask about formats and payment models.
  • Clone campaigns.
  • Manage creatives.
  • Control zone and subzone whitelists and blacklists.
  • Check campaign statistics and account balance.
  • Ask questions about PropellerAds features, formats, and strategies based on the platform’s Knowledge Base.

NIKO AI works better when advertisers give it the full campaign context. Details like the funnel, vertical, target CPA, and previous campaign performance help it make more relevant recommendations. In internal tests, campaigns with more detailed context generated up to 144% more conversions than those where advertisers provided only limited information.

SSP MCP Connector: Bring PropellerAds into your favorite AI agent

Some advertisers would rather stay inside PropellerAds, while others already do most of their work through tools like Claude, ChatGPT (Codex), Cursor, or another AI Agent.

The new SSP MCP Connector is built for the latter. It lets advertisers bring PropellerAds into the AI tools they already use and handle campaign tasks from there.

After connecting the platform with a simple .mcpb file and API token, advertisers can manage their campaigns through a simple chat instead of constantly switching back to the dashboard.

Using their preferred AI Agent, they can:

  • View campaigns.
  • Create new campaigns.
  • Update campaign settings.
  • Manage bids and rates.
  • Configure targeting.
  • Manage creatives.
  • Check campaign performance and account balance.

The connector doesn’t replace the dashboard, instead, it removes the need to open it for routine tasks. Security also remains fully under the advertiser’s control. Authentication uses API tokens rather than account credentials, and AI Agents perform only the actions explicitly requested.

More AI and less manual work

The two updates have the same goal: cutting down the time advertisers spend on routine campaign tasks so they can focus on testing, optimizing, and scaling what works.

For those who work in the PropellerAds Self-Serve Platform, NIKO AI acts as an extra pair of hands for campaign management.

For advertisers who already work through Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or other AI Agents, the SSP MCP Connector brings PropellerAds into that setup, so there’s no need to keep jumping between tools.

The setup may be different, but the goal is the same: less manual work and more time spent on performance.

NIKO AI and the SSP MCP Connector are now live and available to advertisers.
