Randy Freer leaves the board of 888

888 recently made an announcement about Randy Freer leaving the board.

R. Freer joined the board as a non-executive in July, after William Hill’s American assets were purchased by 888 for 1.95 billion pounds.

Before working at 888, Freer had served as a chief operating officer at Fox Networks Group, a television company. He also worked as a chief executive officer at Hulu, an American streaming service. Randy used to be a senior advisor at a management consulting company, McKinsey and Company.

“From the board’s name I want to express my gratitude to Freer, and thank him for everything he has done for our company during this short period. We wish him all the best.”

commented Lord Mendelsohn, 888’s non-executive chairperson.

Later he added that thanks to the highly relevant skills and experience of their newly strengthened board of directors, they are going to keep looking for new opportunities as they are going to deliver growth strategy and create value for stakeholders.

Recently, 888 reported the financial results for the first half of this year.
