Scientific Games teams up with Hasbro in Monopoly Utility Trails release

Scientific Games and Hasbro’s long promising alliance has been fruitful for a while, and continues to be so after the launch of its newest game Monopoly Utility Trails. This title was also named as this week’s Slot of the Week by SlotBeats, clearly mirroring its massive success so far.

After the release of Cluedeo Cash Mystery in the first month of the year, this new title is a 8×7, cluster pays slot that comes with a water works spin streak, as well as expanding wilds.

The wild symbol within the game will substitute for all other symbols except the electric company Bulb and the water works tap. Once a Wild symbol has been used in a winning combination, it will explode and disappear. If it is not used in a win, it will remain on the board during the cascade until the end of the spin.

In the base game, wins can take place when five+ symbols come together to form one connected cluster. This is a fusion of symbols in which all symbols should touch one or more other symbols possessing the same type along either a vertical or horizontal edge.

Surely, the wild symbol will make up for other symbols, with the exception of the electric company Bulb as well as the water works tap.

While a spin or cascade is happening, a 3×3 community chest symbol can possibly end up on the grid. If this occurs, then the chest will unveil a cash prize that is randomized. And if a water works tap symbol lands, which it is only able to do so in the base game, it can add up to 15 symbols which will then fill the gauge and lead to the bonus mode of the game.

The bonus round, which is the water works round, the game will keep spinning until a winning cluster is formed. All of these clusters will then stay in place for the entirety of the bonus mode. Then the game will cascade all of the non-paying symbols, keeping all of those who do add to the previous cluster or make another one.
