Digitain, the leading sports betting software provider, has announced the promotion of Simon Westbury to the role of Chief Business Officer.

Before his promotion, Westbury acted as the Head of International Business Development for the firm, and his responsibilities included expanding the company’s global sales channel and strategy concerning their new markets and customers.

Harutyun Vardanyan, Digitain Chief Operations Officer, stated:

Simon has successfully led the Digitain Sales team since January 2020, generating significant growth and adding great value to our business. We fully expect even greater things from him and his team in the future.

Westbury claimed that this was his dream job and went on to mention the massive growth the company saw last year. He also went on to say:

I am delighted to be given this new challenge and in Digitain’s confidence in me, it really is my dream job. 2020 was a year of unparalleled growth for the business and I am committed to deliver even more in 2021. I also look forward to guiding and developing my excellent team, current and new, in order to achieve our exciting plans for the business.

Before he joined Digitain, Westbury used to be the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for VSoftCo Ltd, a virtual games supplier who was bought out by Pragmatic Play in January.
