Sportradar acquires FIH gambling data rights

Sportradar, global leader in preserving sports data, acquired a new agreement with International Hockey Federation due to which it amplifies its suite of gambling data partners.

According to the contract, Sportradar will compile and disseminate wagering data from international tournaments of FIH, including around 300 competition per season.

Sportradar is going to utilize its Universal Fraud Detection Service (UFDS) wager tracking system for match–fixing or other dangers’ detection.

The contract is to result in a further expansion of Nasdaq–listed Swiss sport data and tech company’s list of wagering data collaborations, including global sport communities like UEFA which has started partnership with the firm recently.

The CCO and regional president of APAC, Ed Blonk stated:

“Sportradar’s new acquisition will aid us give solutions for the International Hockey Association which will let us improve and develop the game. We can’t wait to cooperate with FIH for more integrity of hockey enthusiasts over the globe.”

The collaboration involves the following leagues and competitions:

FIH Hockey World Cup Qualifiers
Olympic Qualifiers
FIH Hockey World Cups
FIH Hockey Pro League
FIH Hockey5s World Cup
FIH Indoor Hockey World Cups

In addition, the Sportradar will deliver a Competition and Management platform to the Hockey Federation for helping them to manage data and competitions.

The Federation tends to maintain the platform for integrating hockey enthusiasts and all members of the federation will have access to it.

The head of the federation, Thierry Weil, mentioned:
