Star appoints Daniel Finch as CEO of Brisbane operations
Star Entertainment has recently named Daniel Finch as the CEO of its Brisbane establishments.
The new appointee is an excellent candidate to lead the operations of Star Entertainment’s establishments in Brisbane, as Finch has more than two decades of experience in the hospitality sector across numerous major markets. The new appointee is currently working as the MD of Expedia’s Australian division, which is a position Finch has held for close to a decade.
Star’s MD, Robbie Cooke, commented:
“We are excited to welcome Daniel to our team through our restructuring efforts. This appointment is the second one of its kind as we seek to assign new CEOs to our operations in Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Sydney. Daniel will be bringing with him a plethora of expertise and knowledge, making him an excellent candidate to lead our Brisbane operations. He also has experience leading teams through organizational changes, which we are going through currently.”
The new appointee remarked:
“I am excited to join the team of Star at such an important time for the company. I am excited to drive tourism to Brisbane together with our professional team by providing standout experiences to our patrons.”
The new appointee will officially take over his new responsibilities as the CEO of Star’s operations in Brisbane sometime next month.
