UFC’s Israel Adesanya joins Stake.com as ambassador

Crypto sports betting site stake.com has made an entry into the sponsorship market after acquiring a new, long-term partnership with UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

Adesanya will assume the role of global brand ambassador for the operator, where he will be supporting Stake.com with a variety of sponsorship activations such as VIP fight experience, betting promotions and exclusive appearances.

In a comment on the partnership, Adesanya said:

“Stake is the world’s leading crypto betting platform and I’m very pleased to be sponsored by them. They’ve risen to the top of their field very quickly and the partnership presents the perfect opportunity to align with a brand whose ethos and ambitions so closely reflect mine. The collaboration will see us create many unique opportunities for Stake.com users and I can’t wait to meet and interact with their community throughout the partnership.”

Having previously sponsored the TT Cup table tennis tournament back in 2020, this most recent collaboration has become the first ever crypto partnership in the MMA world as stake.com’s goal is to improve its brand recognition across the sports betting world.

The crypto site will boost its UFC product in addition to increasing its odds and the number of UFC markets available to punters. Since his debut back in 2018, Adesanya has seen a ‘meteoric ascent’ in UFC’s middleweight division, having become the reigning middleweight champion with a record of 20-0.
