1xBet has announced the appointments of Chris Bird and Quirino Mancini as strategic consultants in an effort to improve player protections, transparency, and commitment to responsible gaming.
With the brand operating in more than 35 jurisdictions, the new appointments are aimed at strengthening 1xBet’s global integrity and social responsibility measures. Bird and Mancini are set to support research, policy dialogue, and promote sustainable industry practices.
After the success of the Player Protection Index Series, which is a research program for responsible gambling frameworks in different regions, the appointments are expected to further drive player protection. With the program’s launch in 2025, industry stakeholders have recognized it as a strong contribution to player safety, intervention strategies, and collaboration between operators, researchers, and regulators.
Bird is a former senior executive at Manchester City Football Club and has worked in sport, media, and community roles, with strong expertise in partnerships focused on commercial growth and social influence.
Mancini brings experience in gaming law and regulation, and he currently serves as President of the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL). Mancini mainly focuses on regulatory policy, compliance, and responsible gambling standards.
Additionally, 1xBet’s measures to improve responsible engagement can be noted in its international collaborations, as the brand is the official partner of FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and FIBA.
The company also invests in community initiatives:
