Interview with Valiantsina Dubavets – Head of Marketing at 1spin4win

Yeva: You’ve been with 1spin4win since 2023 and have seen the company grow quite a lot. What has changed the most in the way you approach marketing since you first joined?

Over the past three years, I have had the opportunity to build a strong team of specialists and establish an effective marketing function from the ground up.

When I first joined 1spin4win in 2023, we already had a website, basic support for game releases, and a logo, but we had no media contacts and no social media presence. The company had also never exhibited at an industry event with its own stand, did not yet have established media relationships, and had no dedicated marketing team or structured processes in place.

So, the first stage was about building the foundations from scratch: hiring the team, setting up workflows, and gradually transferring responsibilities and expertise to specialists across media relations, events, social media, and digital marketing.

At the same time, the brand itself was evolving. In 2023, 1spin4win underwent a rebrand and launched a new website, which completely transformed its visual identity.

As these foundations became stronger, we moved from addressing basic marketing needs to a much more mature model that now covers both B2B and B2C audiences.

That evolution also changed the way we approached strategy. From the beginning, I wanted our marketing to be closely connected to business needs, the value of our product, and the wider market environment. Today, 1spin4win shapes its strategies around data, numbers, and in-depth analysis of results.

But our approach is not only about performance data. We also want to do more than simply showcase our product; we want to demonstrate our expertise.

1spin4win positions itself as a specialist in classic slot development, backed by more than 20 years of development experience. We are also an open and transparent partner, sharing real growth figures and case studies from campaigns such as branded games, promotional networks, and themed series launches. This allows our clients to evaluate the effectiveness of our solutions for themselves.

And while analytics plays a major role in our work, there is always room for bold experiments and unconventional campaigns. Global Fruit Festival is one of the latest examples.

Yeva: 1spin4win has built a strong identity around classic slots while still introducing new mechanics and themes. How do you market something familiar without making it feel predictable?

At 1spin4win, we approach this in several ways. One recent example is a marketing campaign dedicated to classic fruit slots, which we also used to introduce new mechanics through our character, Mr. Lemon.

Not every provider would choose to put fruit games at the center of a multi-month campaign for both B2B and B2C audiences. In an industry used to unexpected themes, new visual concepts, and high-profile releases, we decided to present a familiar format from a different perspective.

For our B2B audience, we wanted to encourage a fresh look at the performance and relevance of fruit slots, using data on long-term LTV, betting volumes, and player retention.

For players, we created educational videos explaining how some of our newer and most popular mechanics work, including Plus Coin, Win Spins, Fortune, and others. Our summer Cash & Drops promotion, “Juicy Multiplier Rush,” also helped draw additional attention to the 1spin4win fruit portfolio, featuring falling multipliers across more than 100 casinos.

Of course, we also want to show both players and partners how diverse a classic slot portfolio can be. That diversity comes not only from mechanics, but also from themes, characters, and stories.

For example, 1spin4win regularly releases seasonal games for major holidays. We also have our own stories and unique themes that unfold across slot series and are connected through narratives, such as our Japanese series, the rivalry between Detective Hook and the Don Catleone clan, or Lucky Foxillian adventures.

For example, 1spin4win regularly releases seasonal games around major holidays. We also develop our own story-driven titles, including a unique four-part Japanese saga, a collection built around the rivalry between Detective Hook and the Don Catleone clan, and the adventures of Lucky Foxilian.

That same variety carries over into how we present the 1spin4win brand offline. Our art studio creates distinctive visual concepts, which the marketing team then brings to life at industry events. Since 2025, we have been developing booths around individual games to showcase different sides of the portfolio.

At the upcoming SBC Summit 2026, for example, we will present the Egyptian adventure Lucky Foxilian Hold and Win, scheduled for release in September. We are already preparing a concept for ICE 2027 based on a game with a very unexpected and bold visual style for 1spin4win.

Yeva: A new slot can be great, but getting players and operators to notice it is another challenge. What usually makes a game easier to market?

We believe a successful game launch depends not only on the title itself, but also on the ecosystem of tools that help attract attention to it.

That is why, alongside slots, 1spin4win provides promotional tools that support our releases. One example is pre-release access, which allows our casino partners to make our games available on their platforms before the slots go live.

Successful launches also require close cooperation between several teams. At 1spin4win, the Business Account Development team collaborates with operators and coordinates joint activities, while the Marketing department supports these efforts through content and additional communication channels.

We also work with streamers, directories, and affiliates, as well as directly with players through our Players Room portal. For us, launching a game is not simply about publishing a new title; it is an opportunity to build additional communication around the release and create multiple touchpoints with players and partners.

Yeva: As you’ve worked on both B2B and B2C campaigns, do you approach these audiences differently, or are there some things that work well for both?

At 1spin4win, we have a consistent brand platform, but communication with B2B and B2C audiences differs significantly. Even when we are promoting the same new slot, we tailor the tone of voice, channels, materials, and key messages for each group.

For B2B, we primarily focus on the product, its performance, mechanics, results, and business value. For B2C, the emphasis is more on the game itself: explaining the mechanics in an accessible way, the overall experience, bonuses, and the direct value for the player. That is why we separate our B2B and B2C campaigns rather than simply adapting the same content for different groups.

Players Room is a good example. We created a portal for players, with content tailored to their interests and behavior. It features 1spin4win games, mechanics, big wins across our portfolio, and offers additional benefits for players. It is a dedicated B2C environment rather than simply an adaptation of our B2B marketing.

Yeva: 1spin4win has been using campaigns such as Cash & Drops, Scratch Cards, and branded games to promote its content. Which type of campaign has surprised you most with its results?

Based on our data, 1spin4win Cash & Drops and branded games consistently deliver strong results. They generate high engagement, particularly when operators actively support the campaign and promote it to their own audiences. Our Business Account Development team coordinates these campaigns in-house, while our Marketing team provides all promotional materials.

Scratch Card is one of our newer tools. It is a feature within Players Room that allows registered users to receive Free Spins on selected 1spin4win games at partner casinos each time they scratch a virtual card.

For this promotional tool, the Marketing team has taken the lead on campaign promotion. We have already launched the first activations with casino partners, but they are still ongoing, so it is too early to make a final assessment of their effectiveness.

However, we are already seeing interest from players and repeat visits to Players Room, with users returning for the opportunity to open another Scratch Card. This is a positive early signal for us, but we want to collect more data before evaluating the tool’s overall performance.

Yeva: At this stage of the company’s growth, has marketing become more about reaching new audiences or keeping the existing audience engaged?

When it comes to B2C, our current priority is expanding 1spin4win’s reach and attracting new audiences. Initially, B2C was not a major focus for us, but we have been gradually developing this area by placing greater emphasis on social media, influencer partnerships, streamer collaborations, and direct communication with players through Players Room.

At the same time, we understand that attracting new players is only the first step. The next step is building a long-term relationship with them, which is where the continued development of Players Room and our own B2C mechanics becomes particularly important.

And, of course, the product itself, our slots, remains central to this. We have maintained consistently strong performance lately. Our MoM retention rate has stayed above 40% throughout the year.

Yeva: 1spin4win has recently put more attention on markets and audiences outside its traditional reach. When entering a new market, what is the first thing you want to understand before planning the marketing strategy?

At 1spin4win, we never take an existing marketing strategy and apply it to a new region unchanged. First, we study the audience’s needs, behavior, and expectations, as well as how relevant our product is to that market and how well it suits local conditions.

That was the case, for example, with the African market. An in-depth analysis showed that 1spin4win’s lightweight games with simple mechanics, optimized for mobile devices and capable of performing well even over unstable mobile connections, are a strong match for these local characteristics.

For me, this is one of the key principles when entering a new market: first understand how well the product fits the market, and only then decide how to market it.

Yeva: Looking at where 1spin4win is heading now, what challenge are you most excited to tackle next?

One of the areas I am particularly excited to develop is Players Room and our direct communication with B2C audiences.

With this portal, we are building an interaction model among the operator, 1spin4win, and the player, in which the provider serves not only as a content supplier for the casino but also as an additional source of information, entertainment, and benefits for the player, working alongside the operator.

I am especially interested in developing this ecosystem further and finding new ways to engage directly with players while creating additional value for our operator partners.

Another important direction is social and sweepstakes casinos. 1spin4win has been actively strengthening its presence in this segment this year, and I am looking forward to continuing to adapt our products and marketing tools to the market’s specific needs and dynamics.
