The news was revealed on October 7, 2026, with TLC further sharing that Newman would remain in his position as the company’s board looks for his replacement. Initially, Newman joined TLC back in 2022, leading the company’s demerger from Tabcorp and helping with its establishment as a standalone ASX-listed business.

CEO and Managing Director of TLC, Wayne Pickup, stated:

“Adam has made a significant contribution to TLC since the demerger from Tabcorp, building the financial foundations to support our long-term success through a period of significant change. On behalf of the Board and the executive team, I thank Adam for his leadership and contribution to TLC and wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.”

Before joining TLC, Newman served as the CFO of Tabcorp from 2019, prior to which he held the same position at AusNet Services.

Newman commented on his departure:

“It has been a privilege to help build TLC as a listed company and to work with the finance team, the executive and the Board. I’m proud of what we have achieved and remain committed to supporting a smooth handover to my successor.”

Additionally, the company shared that Newman would pursue a career in board and non-executive director roles.
