AffPapa to host a padel tournament at AffPapa Conference Madrid
AffPapa is introducing its first-ever padel tournament as a pre-networking side event for attendees of AffPapa Conference Madrid, scheduled for May 18.
To give attendees the opportunity to meet and connect before AffPapa Conference Madrid begins, AffPapa decided to bring in a fresh concept of a side event that offers something many people in the industry already enjoy outside of work.
In recent years, padel has grown in popularity among iGaming professionals, with many in the industry, including AffPapa’s CEO Levon Nikoghosyan, regularly playing the sport. Hosting a tournament felt like a natural way to kick the conference off, fitting perfectly into the schedule and offering a new kind of starting point for the event, where attendees can interact in a more open setting before the main agenda begins.
Founder & CEO of AffPapa, Levon Nikoghosyan, shared a statement:
“We haven’t done anything like this before at AffPapa, but after how well the afterparties went in Cancun, it felt like the right time to try something different. This time, we wanted the pre-networking to stand out as well. A lot of people in the industry already play padel, so it made sense to turn it into something fun before the conference starts.”
Instead of jumping straight into formal sessions and meetings, the padel tournament creates the right setting for AffPapa Conference Madrid attendees to ease into the conference atmosphere ahead of the two main event days. The side event is just one of several activities on the conference agenda, planned and designed to engage all participants and create more networking opportunities.

AffPapa’s biggest affiliate-led conference to this day, AffPapa Conference Madrid, will take place on May 18–20 at Novotel Madrid Center and is expected to welcome more than 1,500 attendees (40% affiliates, 40% operators, 20% B2B providers).
