Paysafe chooses Alex Gersh to become their new chief financial officer.

Recently Paysafe made many new appointments in their leadership team and Gersh is the latest.

A. Gersh is an experienced professional who has been working in the financial industry for a really long time. He worked as chief financial officer in different companies such as Sportradar, Betfair and others. He will begin working for the company starting from October 3rd.

It is known that the new financial officer departed from his previous company Sportradar for new chances. He supported the firm in the process of building finance function and during last year led the brand to public offering on NASDAQ.

“Gersh is an experienced executive, and we know that he is going to be an asset for our company. He will help us grow and create long term value for stakeholders.”

said Paysafe’s CEO – Bruce Lowthers.

“Paysafe has diverse payment offerings in different industries with main focus on gaming and entertainment. Throughout my career I have been part of many famous brands of the industry and I can’t wait to join Paysafe in order to provide them with my knowledge and skills.”

added Gersh.

Recently Paysafe reported its financial results for the second quarter of this year, showing a 669.4 million dollars operating loss. This happened because of the fall in the company’s share price, which reached the threshold that caused the automatic revaluation of company’s assets, which led to a decrease in many goodwill valuations. This resulted in a major one-time blow to the financial performance of the business.
