ANJ appoints a new head of Directorate of Enforcement
Sophie Namer has officially stepped into her new role as head of the newly established Directorate of Enforcement at France’s national gambling authority, ANJ.
Launched on July 11 as part of ANJ’s new organizational structure, the Directorate was created to help strengthen enforcement actions and the fight illegal gambling operations.
Before joining ANJ, Sophie Namer spent six years at the Administrative Courts of Limoges and Toulouse, working as both a rapporteur and public rapporteur. She officially began her new role as head of the Directorate of Enforcement on September 1, with Jérôme Labarbe stepping in as her deputy.
At the same time, ANJ has introduced another unit: the Directorate of Data, Markets, and Innovation. This department will take charge of monitoring the market, overseeing the JONUM experimentation program, and data valorization.
