Bally’s to launch Las Vegas casino resort by 2028

Bally’s Corporation has reaffirmed its plans to open a Las Vegas casino resort by 2028, alongside the Oakland Atheltics’s new ballpark.
An American gambling, betting, and interactive entertainment company, Bally’s initially planned to complete the ballpark first, but changes in the market conditions made the company fast-track both projects and open a casino resort together with the park.
Soo Kim, Bally’s Corp. chairman, said:
“I think we’re working pretty hard to come up with a plan that will allow us to at least build Phase 1 and open at the same time as the ballpark.”
The resort will have 3,000 hotel rooms, a 90,000-square-foot casino, and a 12,000-square-foot sportsbook, with designs ensuring the ballpark’s view of the Las Vegas Strip is kept.
Soo Kim added:
“The renderings are not really renderings. They’re more like a representation of how much space that we have to work with here.”
Bally’s expansion
Bally’s remains confident in its long-term strategy, also committing to the development of a casino in Chicago. Earlier this year, Bally’s representative claimed plans for a permanent Chicago casino in the River West district were on track. The Chicago project will contain a $1.7 billion casino and hotel on a section of the current facility, with 3,400 slots and 170 table games. The project is intended to generate three thousand permanent casino jobs.
