BetMGM becomes sponsor of all major Pittsburgh sports teams

BetMGM has become a sponsorship partner for all three of Pittsburgh’s major professional sports teams after finalizing a deal with the NHL’s Penguins.

This agreement with the Penguins follows BetMGM’s existing partnerships with the NFL’s Steelers and MLB’s Pirates.

The deal gives Entain and MGM Resorts’ joint venture branding and signage at the Penguins’ PPG Paints Arena, plus co-branded social media content, special promotions, and VIP fan experiences.

Casey Hurbis, BetMGM’s chief marketing officer, said:

“Pittsburgh is home to some of the most iconic sports franchises. This latest collaboration with the Penguins builds on our deep ties across the city and opens new opportunities to engage fans through unforgettable experiences at PPG Paints Arena, and beyond.”

The operator also announced plans to launch Penguins-branded iGaming content.

BetMGM’s growing presence in US sports sponsorship reflects the operator’s recent strong performance. In Q3 2025, the company reported net revenue of $667 million, with a 23% increase YoY. iGaming revenue also grew by 21%, and online sports betting revenue increased by 36% compared to the previous year.
