BetMGM expands in Mississippi with mobile-on-site betting

BetMGM has released its mobile sports betting app at MGM Resorts International’s Beau Rivage, extending its footprint in Mississippi.

While at the Biloxi casino, players will be able to place pre-game, in-play, futures, and parlay wagers via smartphones. Users in Mississippi can now install the app. However, geolocation technology imposes a restriction that allows players to bet only on-site at permitted establishments.

Adam Greenblatt, chief executive of BetMGM, stated:

“We are excited at BetMGM to be expanding our company in Mississippi and now offering our mobile app at Beau Rivage. Beau Rivage is among the state’s highly entertaining venues, and it’s the ideal spot to introduce our service to brand-new consumers as we seek to advance all across the South.”

Customers may now use the BetMGM application to place bets at Tunica’s Gold Strike Casino Resort, which opened in September. Players can also exchange their playtime for activities at MGM Resorts sites around the United States, such as the Beau Rivage and Gold Strike in Mississippi, since the application is linked with MGM Resorts’ M Live Rewards system.

Travis Lunn, MGM Southeast president, and chief operating officer, mentioned:

“Beau Rivage is happy to have been the first Coastal Mississippi casino resort to give consumers mobile sports gambling. The BetMGM app provides in-game betting, additional promos and allows users to obtain M life Rewards for participating.”
