BetMGM has recently announced a new partnership with the Charlotte Motor Speedway through which the firm will expand into the gambling market of North Carolina.

The new collaboration between the operator and the CMS has provided BetMGM with a market access contract, through which it will be able to offer its sports wagering services in the state upon the launch of North Carolina’s legalized betting sector.

BetMGM’s Chief Executive, Adam Greenblatt, commented:

“For quite some time, we’ve been waiting for the launch of regulated and safe sports wagering opportunities in North Carolina, a state with a diverse and active sports sector. Collaborating with the CMS will provide local sports fans with an excellent set of entertainment options, meeting a large portion of the state’s demand for regulated betting services. We are eager to deliver our leading experiences which will also provide funding to several local agencies.”

The EVP and GM of the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Greg Walter, remarked:

“Our partners at BetMGM have solidified themselves as a leading source of sports wagering experiences through their collaborations with numerous high-profile sports championships and venues across the US. This partnership will enable BetMGM to offer its leading offerings in North Carolina, providing local sports fans with engaging experiences and funding numerous state agencies through taxes.”

The regulated wagering sector of North Carolina is estimated to launch sometime in the first quarter of the year, through which BetMGM will be able to further grow its expansive presence across the United States.
