Betsson enters new partnerships with Playtech and Spearhead Studios
Betsson Group has entered not one, but two new iGaming agreements as it teams up with Playtech and Spearhead Studios, the games development division of EveryMatrix. Spearhead Studios will now have its entire suite available through a bunch of the international online gambling operator’s brands, such as Casino Euro and Betsafe.
Betsson Group commercial director for gaming, Ciara Nic Liam, commented on the new partnerships saying:
“Here at Betsson Group, we are always listening to our customers’ needs and wants. Bringing new and fresh casino content to them is a big part of what we do, and I would like to welcome Spearhead Studios to our casino portfolio. Their games are a great addition to our existing collection.”
The suite provided by Spearhead Studios contains some popular hits including Book of Souls, Lara Jones is Cleopatra, Fruits & 777’s, and Royal Crown. The company also stated that it is preparing a string of brand new releases for this year.
Spearhead Studios managing director Mathias Larsson stated:
“Everyone in igaming knows who Betsson Group is. They are not only a leading brand across Europe, but also a fun and vibrant company that puts customer service first. I am more than proud to see Spearhead Studios’ games live on their casino. It’s a statement of our commitment to make available high-quality and localised content across many markets.”
Moreover, Betsson’s new deal with Playtech witnesses the tech company launching its live casino products across different brands including Betsafe, EuropeBet and NordicBet.
The partnership is set to last four years and comes after Playtech released the iPoker network in 2020 across multiple Betsson Group brands, and will now witness all players acquire access to an entire suite of casino and table games such as Adventures Beyond Wonderland, with was only recently released, as well as Live Quantum Blackjack and Live Slots.
Shimon Akad, Playtech chief operating officer, also noted:
