Betsson Group’s latest financial report revealed a healthy growth momentum for the firm.

The headline growth figure resulted from a quarterly revenue of 237.6 million euros, which was up from just over 200 million euros the company generated in the third quarter of last year and also represented an organic growth rate of almost 40%. This led to an EBITDA of 68.9 million euros in the period, which was up by 42% from last year’s EBITDA of 48.6 million euros.

Betsson experienced a similar increase in its operating income, which went from 38.4 million euros to 56 million euros in the quarter, representing an increase of 46%. This also led to an increase in the company’s net income and earnings per share, which went from 32.6 million euros to 46.2 million euros and 0.24 euros to 0.35 euros respectively.

The company mentioned that this growth was spread throughout all of its international operations, except in the Nordic region. The firm added that it experienced sizable increases in its turnover for both gambling and sports wagering experiences, although it saw a slight decline in the profit margin of its betting offerings due to unfavorable sports results.

The group also reported an increase in its active customer base, which grew by 17% and went from just over a million to 1.24 million people.
