Better Collective elevates Christian Kirk Rasmussen as co-CEO

Better Collective, a digital sports media group founded in 2004, announced the elevation of its co-founder and former COO, Christian Kirk Rasmussen, as co-CEO.

The news was first announced by Jesper Søgaard on LinkedIn. Earlier, in its Q4 report, Better Collectiver hinted at directional changes aiming to restructure the company’s growth plan. Moreover, Better Collective will now divide its activities into three verticals: publishing, paid media, and esports. It is no longer using a region-based approach.

Jesper Søgaard stated:

“For more than 20 years, we have been “a band of brothers”, having utilised our individual qualities, competencies, and personalities to drive the development of Better Collective alongside some great colleagues. With Christian’s new role, he will free up time and resources to have a stronger focus on innovation, product development, and future growth opportunities, whereas my role remains unchanged.”

New management will oversee Better Collective’s new business divisions, freeing up the company’s leadership to concentrate on increasing shareholder value.

Christian Kirk Rasmussen commented:

“With the new position, I look so much forward to dedicating much more of my time to innovation and product development across our fantastic House of Brands while I will also be spending more of my time to look into future growth opportunities for our business.”

Better Collective plans to score goals in 2025

Better Collective has huge plans for 2025. Back in 2024, the company announced a workforce cut off driven by the lower-than-expected commercial activity from U.S. partners and declines in the Brazilian market. However, despite negative outcomes, the company remained positive, and now Christian Kirk Rasmussen’s elevation highlights Better Collective’s dedication to solidify its name in the market.

Better Collective will also reinvest in its key assets, such as Acton Network, Playmaker, Yardbarker, RotoGrinders, and VegasInsider, as part of its emphasis change.
