Better Collective takes over Rekatochklart.com in €3.8m deal
Better Collective has unveiled its takeover of Rekatochklart.com, which is a Swedish online sports betting platform, in a €3.8 million (or $4.5 million) deal.
The affiliate group finalized the takeover as the purchase of an asset from Win&Fun Media and will be adding the newly-obtained asset into its group accounts. The platform is set to be operated and managed by the Swedish team.
The previous owners of the platform, Ulrik Sandebäck and Jens Carlsson, are said to be going strong in their consultancy roles at the Swedish division of Better Collective.
The platform was initially established back in 2008 and has been acting ever since as an online community in which sports betting enthusiasts and tipsters were able to provide their tips on betting and wagering, as well as analysing different sports events. In 2020, it was able to generate €1.2 million in revenue and €900,000 before tax and interest.
