Betway has announced its most recent multi-year partnership with the Cleveland Cavaliers, a franchise of the NBA.

The online gambling operator will be able to have its branding displayed on all signage that is visible through broadcasts during the team’s home games through this new partnership, and even have it displayed on all out-of-bounds space on the court.

Aside from that, Betway will now also gain a presence on the team’s social platforms. The operator is also set to be a supporting partner of Cleveland Wheelchair Cavaliers and a presenting partner of a programme on Fox Sports Ohio.

Anthony Werkman. Chief Executive at Betway, stated:

“We are honoured to enter into a partnership deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs have proved to be one of the most consistent and exciting teams in the NBA in recent years and we’re looking forward to seeing the Betway brand associated with them.”

As of now, Ohio has still not legalized sports betting, however this agreement will be offering a free-to-play game called the ‘Betway Big Pick’ which basically means that fans will have the opportunity to win cash prizes on a weekly basis throughout the whole season.

Shelly Cayette, senior vice president for global partnerships at Cleveland Cavaliers also noted:

“Sports gaming is an exciting and rapidly growing industry and we are excited to bring ‘Betway Big Pick’ to our fans. We’re proud to partner with one of the preeminent platforms in this space, Betway, and help bolster their presence and connectivity throughout the Cleveland market and across our global fanbase.”
