Beyond the booths: Inside SiGMA World’s 120,000 sqm expo

By the time the first delegate scans a badge at Fiera Roma, the expo floor will already have been through ten days of stand building and setup.

Beyond the booths: Inside SiGMA World’s 120,000 sqm expo

More than 7,000 stand builders and event professionals will head into the venue to put up over 1,000 stands across nine halls. When SiGMA World opens on 2 November, the construction site will have become a temporary business district covering 120,000 sqm, roughly the size of 17 football pitches laid side by side. RedCore returns to Rome as the event’s main sponsor, powering the 2026 edition.
And the booths are just the start.

Across four days, SiGMA World is expected to bring more than 30,000 delegates to Rome, alongside over 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors and a conference program featuring more than 550 speakers on five stages. SiGMA, Affiliate Grand Slam, AIBC and FX World will all run their events under one roof, each keeping its own specialist focus while giving delegates access to the wider ecosystem.

For anyone heading to Rome, the challenge may not be figuring out what to do. It will be deciding what they can afford to miss.

Nine halls, and no single way through them

The SiGMA World floor has no obvious beginning and no obvious end.
Enter through the east side of Fiera Roma and the experience splits straight away into several routes. Gaming suppliers and operators fill the major B2B areas, consumer-facing brands have sections of their own, affiliates gather around AGS, AIBC brings in AI, blockchain and emerging technologies, and finance and FX have their own dedicated presence.

Hall 3 is one of the natural meeting points, with SiGMA’s B2B and B2C activity set around the Main Stage and a Media Zone and Platinum/VIP Lounge close by. The stage hosts some of the summit’s biggest sessions, opening with investor Tim Draper before moving on to international expansion, regulation, betting operations, compliance and leadership over the following days.

Hall 5 holds another major gaming cluster, this one with a distinctly Italian character. The Italy Stage makes its debut this year, raising the number of conference stages from four to five and creating a dedicated forum for the home market.

The extra stage matters because Italy is being treated as more than just the host nation. Local regulation, operators, institutions and market opportunities are being built directly into the conference experience.

Keep walking across the venue and the character changes again.

Hall 2 is home to the Affiliate Grand Slam and the AGS Stage. Hall 7 belongs to AIBC, where the program turns to AI, blockchain, crypto and emerging technologies. Hall 8 brings in the financial markets through the Global Finance Stage, with discussions spanning FX, fintech, payments and digital assets.

For delegates whose businesses already sit across more than one sector, that proximity could matter as much as any single session. An affiliate can move from acquisition talks straight into operator meetings. A payments company can go from the finance area to the gaming floor. And an AI or blockchain supplier doesn’t have to spend the whole week talking only to other tech companies.

Some stands are hard to walk past

With over 1,000 stands going up across Fiera Roma, the floor is as much about how exhibitors use their space as how much of it they take. Last year’s Rome expo raised the bar. Uplatform turned its booth into an Italian courtyard, complete with real lemon trees, fresh lemon gelato and a lemon-toss game. BetConstruct took another route, pairing technology with classical architecture in exhibition spaces inspired by the Garni Temple and the Colosseum.

Elsewhere, Betmen Affiliates built a Mediterranean-style setting with a working fountain, greenery and a classic Vespa, while Black Flag Affiliates went all in on a pirate ship, sails and giant octopus included.

Those designs showed just how far exhibitors can push the idea of a booth when the stand itself becomes part of the experience.

A different kind of village in Hall 5

The most distinctive of this year’s new additions isn’t commercial at all.
The SiGMA Foundation debuts with its own area on the exhibition floor: the Positive Impact Village, co-hosted by the SiGMA Foundation and SiGMA World. The space aims to give more visibility to the social-impact work happening across gaming, emerging technology, affiliate marketing and financial services. Foundations, NGOs, corporate CSR programs and social enterprises will be able to showcase their initiatives right on the main show floor, rather than in a separate side room.

Registered charities aren’t the only ones who can take part. Companies working within or alongside the SiGMA, AIBC, AGS and FXWorld industries can also join if they run an active social-impact initiative. That includes the charitable arms of industry businesses, independent NGOs, social enterprises and media organizations covering impact in technology and gaming.

Every participant gets a dedicated display panel setting out its initiative, the scope of its work and a follow-up contact, plus a listing on the official SiGMA World Rome floor plan.

Its location matters too. Rather than sitting at a distance from the main event, the zone is in Hall 5, next to the commercial exhibition space, the Italy Stage and one of the summit’s VIP areas.

That gives the Foundation a constant presence as part of the expo, and gives delegates one more reason to stop at a spot on the floor that isn’t about products, sales or investment.

At an event of this scale, where attention is usually measured in meetings booked and leads generated, the Positive Impact Village brings something noticeably different to the floor.

Take your business shoes, and perhaps your sports shoes as well

Padel has gone from side activity to part of the venue. The Bloko Padel Tour kicks off outdoors at Caesar’s Club Padel on 02 November before the competition moves to Fiera Roma. Hall 9 hosts the Media Duel Tour on 03 November, the Bloko Padel Tour Finalissima follows on 04 November, and the Media Groups Finals and Super Cup close things out on the final day.

The GoKart track, sponsored by SOFTSWISS, moves even further from the standard expo format, offering a real racing experience alongside the exhibition halls.
This is where the size of the venue starts to make sense. The extra space isn’t simply filled with more rows of booths. Part of it is turned into places where delegates can compete, watch, eat or talk outside the usual meeting format.

More than meetings: lounges, bars and places to recharge

Not all of the floor space goes to traditional booths. Some brands take over lounges, bars, competitions and other areas where meetings can happen without anyone sitting across a branded desk.

Digistore24 runs the Affiliate Lounge in Hall 2, while Stake hosts a VIP Lounge in Hall 5. Soft2Bet has its own networking bar in Hall 4, and BETBY is tied to a dedicated chess area.

Elsewhere on the map attendees will find a VIP Lounge run by bet365, another from Wicked Games & QTech, workshop spaces, a Shisha Lounge, a Retro Bar and a section labeled Rocket League Football.

There’s also a Snakes & Ladders section. You could spend the morning in supplier meetings and still end up playing chess, racing a kart or standing at a gin bar without ever leaving the business program. And there will be no shortage of places to eat.
The outdoor area will have more than 90 food and activity points. Inside, there are food courts in Halls 4 and 6, around 20 food trucks, plus a sorbet bar, a gin bar and a beer garden.

The venue also has nineteen meeting rooms, along with networking areas and several lounges. In Hall 3, the Media Zone and Platinum/VIP Lounge sit around the Main Stage, while Hall 8 has a dedicated networking area close to the finance and AIBC sections.

For anyone whose calendar is already full, these breaks may turn out to be some of the most valuable stops on the map.

Across 120,000 sqm, the SiGMA Match app helps delegates zero in on the people, booths and meetings that matter most to them. It can also be used to explore the floor plan and set up meetings before arrival.

Ten days to build it, four days to experience it

When delegates arrive, the expo will look as if it all came together effortlessly. Behind the scenes, it took ten days of building, with more than 7,000 professionals turning nine empty halls into over 1,000 stands, five stages, lounges, meeting rooms, food areas, sports spaces and temporary hospitality venues.

SiGMA World takes place at Fiera Roma from 02 to 05 November 2026, bringing together gaming, affiliates, frontier technology and financial markets for SiGMA’s last major event of the year.

With nine halls, there will always be another aisle to turn down. With five stages, something will inevitably clash with another session you wanted to catch. And with padel, GoKart, dinners, lounges, bars and side events built around the main business program, seeing everything is probably impossible.
