Going live well ahead of the expected start date of Monday, March 11th, this remarkable accomplishment was facilitated by Caesars’ strong ties with the Eastern Cherokee Tribe and adherence to the Indian Gaming Act.
Eric Hession, the head of Caesars Digital, commended the app and its features, noting that sports fans in Western North Carolina will be thrilled with this new addition to their sports betting options. He expressed his excitement for the upcoming sports season and thanked the tribe for allowing betting at the Harrah’s Cherokee gambling establishments.
Michell Hicks, the respected leader of the Cherokee Indians, highlighted the tribe’s strong and growing partnership with Caesars. Hicks looked forward to launching mobile gaming to North Carolina, promising fans of sports an exciting and entirely fresh experience.
Currently, mobile sports betting is exclusively offered at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort and Harrah’s Murphy Casino in North Carolina, as well as on the adjoining Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians tribal grounds.
