Caesars Sportsbook will replace GambetDC Kiosks in Washington, DC.

Caesars Entertainment, Inc., formerly Eldorado Resorts, Inc., is an American hotel and casino entertainment company founded and based in Reno, Nevada. Eldorado Resorts acquired Caesars Entertainment Corporation and changed its own name to Caesars Entertainment on July 20, 2020.

Opening at Capital One Arena, Caesars has been a famous player in Washington, DC, since 2021, when it became the first sportsbook to operate within a professional sports venue. On September 10, Caesars announced that, with the help of the DC Office of Lottery and Gaming, the company will replace GambetDC kiosks with 53 new sports betting kiosks installed across small businesses in Washington.

Eric Hession, Caesars Digital president, said:

“We appreciate the Office of Lottery and Gaming for providing us the opportunity to further our connection with sports fans in our nation’s capital.”

Initially, the company to take over GambetDC was FanDuel; however, a budget expansion allowed competitors like Caesars, BetMGM, and DraftKings to enter the market.

Retail and online wagering options with Caesars

With its 53 new sports betting kiosks, Caesars will benefit local businesses by hosting them and will provide bettors more options for placing their wagers. The company will accept wagers and mobile deposits, providing both retail and online options for users.

This growth follows DC’s regulatory reforms that opened the sports betting market to more operators. Now, DC boasts a dynamic and diverse sports betting landscape.
