Canadian Gaming Summit to share insider knowledge
The upcoming Canadian Gaming Summit 2023 event will present lots of learning opportunities as part of its Leaders track.
Starting on the 13th of June, the three-day conference is going to be gathering an audience full of the region’s most knowledgeable experts in Toronto, where it will provide lots of networking and learning opportunities for its attendees and will help them learn the quirks and features of the North American iGaming market.
As we mentioned in our coverage of the event’s preview agenda, Canadian Gaming Summit 2023 will feature a unique track system where each one will be covering a set topic and hosting numerous discussion and speech panels to educate its participants.
On the second day of the conference, the Leaders track will be hosted, which will share lots of insightful knowledge and showcase some of the market’s most influential experts and innovators. It will feature professionals from prominent companies such as Kindred and BetMGM, whose insights will be invaluable for firms looking to enter the North American iGaming market.
The track will start off with a discussion centered around innovation. The panel will see participants talking about Canada’s potential in the space and how the country’s established position as a technology hub can help it achieve a similar role in the gambling industry. Moreover, the panelists, the list of which includes Kindred’s Amanda Brewer, BetMGM’s Scott Woodgate, and PointsBet’s Scott Vanderwel, will also discuss various opportunities for local operators to compete with larger companies and the potential of other provinces in the country outside of Ontario.
The Second panel discussion of the track will be focusing on regulators with two of the province’s most influential experts, Tom Mungham, AGCO’s CEO, and Martha Otton, iGaming Ontario’s Executive Director. They will talk about the potential of inter-provincial collaborations to ensure the safety of the industry across the entirety of Canada and will discuss various predictions made before the official launch of Ontario’s regulated gambling market.
Following the two insightful panels, the Leaders track will be brought to a close with a discussion on omnichannel gambling services. Mohegan’s Ray Pineault and Hard Rock’s Ilkim Hincer will be talking about how retail establishments can expand their reach with digital offerings and how collaborations with regulatory bodies can help companies succeed.
