Casino Guru’s fourth consecutive win at iGB Affiliate Awards

Casino Guru has won the Safer Gambling Initiative award at the iGB Affiliate Awards 2026 for the fourth year in a row. The award was presented during iGB Live, held on July 1-2, and recognizes companies working to improve player safety across the gambling industry.

The award marks another milestone in Casino Guru’s efforts to improve player protection and support safer gambling across the industry. The latest win follows a year of projects focused on giving players better tools and clearer information to gamble more responsibly. One of the company’s biggest initiatives was the Online Self-exclusion Recommended Code of Practice, a set of evidence-based recommendations designed to improve how online self-exclusion works.

The framework encourages a more consistent approach across the industry, making it easier for operators to strengthen player protection and reduce gambling-related harm.

Casino Guru also recently partnered with Gamecheck to introduce a verification feature that helps players identify casinos offering provider-verified games. The initiative supports Casino Guru’s broader goal of making online gambling more transparent and helping players make informed decisions.

Šimon Vincze, Head of Sustainable & Safer Gambling at Casino Guru, commented:

“Over the past year, Casino Guru has launched or completed some of its most ambitious safer gambling initiatives to date. Our collaboration with Gamecheck and the publication of the Online Self-Exclusion Scheme – Recommended Code of Practice are important milestones that build on our long-standing commitment to player protection. We are honored that the iGBAffiliate Awards has recognized these efforts and the work that goes into advancing safer gambling standards across the industry.”

Working alongside partners from across the sector, the company continues to back initiatives that promote greater transparency and strengthen responsible gambling standards.
