After almost two years on board, Ciarán Carruthers departs from Australia’s biggest casino operator, Crown Resorts.

An Australian gaming and entertainment group, Crown Resorts Limited, founded in 2007, owns and operates various entertainment complexes, including Crown Melbourne, Crown Perth, and Crown Sydney.

Ciarán Carruthers has been the top casino executive in Crown’s history and leaves the company after a challenging period.

Crown Resorts’ newly appointed chairman, John Borghetti, said:

“Under Ciaran’s leadership, Crown has achieved critical milestones including a whole-of-business transformation and remediation program”.

Earlier this year, Carruthers talked about his confidence in Crown Resorts’ casino license success in both Sydney and Melbourne and also pointed out the management’s importance for a casino resort.
