Codere expands in Latin America via River Plate agreement

The Spanish online casino and sports betting house – Codere, expands its horizons into the South American market via agreement with Argentine professional sports club – River Plate.
According to the affiliation between the two, Codere will be able to place its branding on the Primera División sportswear.
The Latin American market is a key strategic one for the Spain-based company after it started operating.
Codere’s director of sponsorships – Carlos Sabanza Cenzano, said this about the deal:
“Thanks to this affiliation with River Plate, Codere will gain entrance into the Argentinian and South American markets in general, in such a seamless and effortless way, which will see us providing our best branding to the local customers.
Not to mention that River Plate is a key team, if not one of the most essential ones, in Argentina, which is such a great opportunity to boost our presence as a sportsbook provider in the LatAm market.”
The agreement comes as a strategic continuation of the company’s efforts to boost its presence in the LatAm industry, after a set of other strategic partnerships such as the 2016 Real Madrid one, which was a key to entering the market.
River Plate’s VP – Jorge Brito, also added to the sentiments:
“We are honored to be partnering up with a brand that has such a strong wealth of expertise in the field, and by sharing similar values and goals, I am confident that this partnership will continue blossoming into a strong and mutually beneficial business bond.”
